SharpLink Gaming bought another 19,271 Ethereum units, bringing its holdings to 859,853 Ethereum, equivalent to about $3.5 billion.
The move comes after raising $76.5 million in funding and reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to capitalize on
the Ethereum price decline. Since the treasury strategy began in June, Sharplink has acquired over 5,671 Ethereum through staking, worth around $23.25 million.
Sharplink was the first listed company to introduce Ethereum treasury, and its stock value has increased by more than 450% in the past six months.
Currently, the company is the second largest Ethereum holding company after Bitmine, which recently invested another $250 million in Ethereum, bringing its total holdings to over 3.24 million Ethereum.
This trend suggests that companies are taking advantage of Ethereum’s price decline to strengthen their position and earn money from staking.
