The crypto market has seen a sharp swing in recent weeks, affecting the value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. According to Arkham data, the value of assets held in the wallets of Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous creator of Bitcoin and the largest holder of the cryptocurrency, has fallen by more than $20 billion since hitting a record high of $126,000 in early October. Satoshi currently controls more than a million Bitcoins, worth an estimated $117.5 billion.
The recent crypto market crash, fueled by Donald Trump’s post about imposing new tariffs on China, has led to the largest crypto liquidation in history, worth $20 billion. However, Bitcoin has shown relative resilience, remaining above the $100,000 level.
Analysts believe that this drop is merely a short-term decline and does not have a long-term fundamental impact on the market. Given the economic data and the simultaneous movement of risk-on and store-of-value assets, analysts are optimistic and expect the crypto market to continue its upward trajectory.
